What you said is fair I am one of those inactive staff but the staff team that was originally came here have been fellow staff team members for a while so. We know each other well in short. I am being inactive because I am on leave and my 2 reasons were my desktop broke down a while ago and I had to a school project which required me to use my laptop for other things.
Firstly I would like to say I love this server and all the people I have met so far have been wonderful.
However you do seem to have a lot of inactive staff.
Perhaps staff should be chosen based on how much they play on the server and should only picked from regulars.I have come across a lot of people who are only want to be ranked and do nothing for the server.
Staff don't really need to do much on the server to make it successful, the presence of staff can make all the difference.

This combined with applications is how we currently pick our staff members.
In short, once we receive an application for Moderator, we keep a close eye on that player in-game. All current staff members have a place in the applications to post comments on what we think of the applicant. Then our Staff Manager and Deputy SM look over our comments, and make a decision.
I agree with you, a lot of our staff are inactive, including myself. I am trying my best to come back as much as possible, and I know some others are as well, but in reality, personal comes before games. Which we have to respect, but only for so long! Which I am sure here soon, the executive staff will have a conversation over the entire staff team and will make any necessary changes,
Its only a matter of time before i make a come-back, I know you guys dont really miss me, but i would like to think you do, but due to school, i can only play on weekends. Plus, ive been playing Craft Craft, B-Team, Agrarian Skies, and a lot of RIFT, just yesturday, if you guys remeber Fluff, he sent me a message on skype, i plan on trying to draw him back to playing tekkit, if anything. But ill try and see if i can get on staff again, chances are i probally wont make it since of school, which really sucks. Luckly next week is Spring Break, and ill be spending a lot of time n my computer, on general ill wake up at 6:00 and go to bed at 11:30, hope to see you in game when i get back! Love you all :3

Mystical1, thank you for the suggestion and we are dealing with the inactivity of the staff members. As Generalleecar said before, Personal before Games.
Thank you again for bringing some more attention to this issue and the senior staff will take a look into the staff members and will make any necessary changes.
